Is it just me or does everyone get a little nervous when they leave their home empty to go on an extended vacation? I feel like our home and our neighborhood is very safe. We don’t live at the very front of the neighborhood and we have very watchful (read: nosey) neighbors who are always on the lookout for things going on. Nevertheless, I still feel a little uneasy leaving my beloved home alone for a week or two while our family goes on vacation. I decided that it might be a good time to look in to getting an ADT home security system installed on our house. My husband and I decided that it would be a good investment and it would give us some peace of mind too. This past week we went off on vacation with the whole family for a week at the beach. It was the most relaxing vacation because I wasn’t worried about our home being left along the entire time. I knew that if anything happened we were just a phone call away.
